A break in business
I love living in a college town on spring break. You can go anywhere, anytime, and there's never a line, there's no traffic, and frankly there's less of a boozy haze than normal but that may just be my perception.

I live on the same street as a private high school. It's full of students whose parents wouldn't dare live in the same neighborhood I live in but are more than happy to drive through it every morning to drop their kids off at school. Needless to say I look forward to every summer when I don't have to fight the traffic just to get out of my own front yard in the morning.
Imagine the quality of life, if the students decided to boycott Tuscaloosa businesses. Highly unlikey but something to keep in mind.
