Center Point, sure. And Trussville, maybe. But when the mayor of Vestavia thinks that developer interests weakened the flood prevention plan, it has a problem.

I attended the county commission meeting where the plan was railroaded through - um, I mean passed - and I'm glad to see that Scotty isn't going to swallow it. We have some pretty sserious flooding problems in Vestavia, although nothing like Village Creek. Refusing to look at the cumulative effect of development is stupid and short-sighted.
