The stupid Sci-Fi Channel has cancelled Farscape. They'd actually committed to a fifth season, but used an escape clause to get out of it. And in their usual attempt to screw things up, they waited until the last minute, so the producers won't have a chance to wrap things up.

Here's the party line. You know, those "efforts to reach a broader audience" included removing it from the schedule to show B-movies for months on end and (most recently) cutting the fourth season in half and (instead of repeats) taking the show completely off the air until January. Way to build the audience.

TeeVee gave a share of its Best Hour Show Award to Farscape today.
