Security vs. Freedoms: Some sacrifice favored; Most Kentuckians worry about future terrorist strike

68 percent of Kentucky residents polled by the Louisville Courier-Journal said that Americans would give up some freedoms to be more secure. (Here's the poll data.) They weren't actually asked if they favored this, from what I can tell, but I'd guess they don't mind. Of course, there's a huge difference between having to wait in longer lines and allowing the FBI to bust down your door or wiretap your phone whenever it wants.
