CNN.com - Seattle man indicted on terror charges - August 29, 2002

James Ujaama, an activist (not a Hamas/Reuters style "activist", but really someone active in the community and said to try to help people) is an American citizen. He's 36 years old, born James Thompson. To be honest, he doesn't seem a likely suspect to be a terrorist. As I say below, I now automatically disbelieve everything that comes out of John Ashcroft's Justice Department. My guess is that this is one of those cases where an informant is making things up or stretching the truth.

I don't know that for sure. Maybe Ujaama is a terrorist. But given Justice's record of late, would it surprise anyone to find out that he isn't?
