Neelley parole is weighed
In 1982, when she was 17, Judith Ann Neeley and her husband (okay, get the Alabama jokes out of the way now) tortured another teenage girl to death. She was in line to be executed three years ago, when Fob James, Governor and Moron, commuted her sentence to life in prison. She now is saying she should be eligible for parole; the state says her parole eligibility should start when her sentence was commuted. I don't see how that can work. I also don't see how anyone could consider her a good parole candidate, but strange things happen when female prisoners get involved. Even if she's released, though, she's got a life sentence to serve in Georgia for a murder there.
