State considers new way to pick judges

Sue Bell Cobb -- who won the Chief Justice race -- still thinks that Alabama's partisan judicial elections are stupid and should be replaced. Everybody who looks at the issue -- other than the Business Council of Alabama, which likes that it can buy judges -- thinks that it should be replaced. But apparently people like "choosing" their judges this way.
