Riley heads Alabama delegation to Europe
In what is perhaps the most important and storied of the duties of the Governor of Alabama, Bob Riley has gone to Germany to suck up to foreigners in hopes that they will build a plant here to exploit our cheap labor. Good luck, Bob! Scarily, the Lt. Gov. is going with him, meaning that the top constitutional official in the state will be Troy King.

From what I understand, Hyundai has not been impressed with the quality of our labor pool. I doubt there will be any more auto plants opening in Alabama any time soon. Maybe Bob just wanted some authentic sauerbrauten.
I'm wondering if the Gov and the Lt Gov had to take separate flights to protect the succession. Troy for Gov? I think not.
