More cities looking at implementing occupation tax

Ah, the occupational tax. Which you pay in the city in which you work, rather than the one you live. And which is totally regressive, half a percent or more out of your salary. Then there's the sales taxes, usually about ten percent, which are levied on everything and which are of course also totally regressive. I hate the occupational tax, but the sales tax is even worse. This state's tax system makes me vomit.
