No, not at Auburn!

Auburn professor alleges fake classes

I am shocked, shocked, to discover allegations that Auburn football players were taking "directed readings" courses that apparently involved no work to speak of, for which they received high grades. Such a thing seems so out of character.

Wasn't Auburn on the verge of losing their accreditation a few years ago?

Yup. SACS put them on probation for a year. If SACS wants, they could yank accreditation or suspend it, which would put the existence of the school in jeopardy.

Do you mean to tell me that these young athletes are being cheated of their education in an NCAA accredited school?

Something like that. Cadillac Williams almost graduated because of this.
