Rival groups injure at least 6 in Moundville - Tuscaloosa
Someone opened fire with "assault-style weapons" upon a birthday party. The story calls it a "wannabe gang" but they seem to have the basics of gang behavior down pretty well. Apparently, tensions between a group of Moundville residents and another group from the town of Akron have been building for some time, but good God.

That blows my MF mind. Moundville is the smallest town that actually looks like a "town" that I've ever seen.
I heard gunshots almost literally in my backyard last night. I live in Montgomery and my backyard is next to an apartment complex. I know Mac you have a hard time with the folks in Shelby county who want to keep apartment dwellers out but right now I wish I could get rid of this complex behind me. I can't afford to sell my house and move but hopefully I will in about two or three years. Just hope a stray bullet doesn't fly through my back window before then.
