Slain CIA agent’s father urges justice

Johnny Spann was in town yesterday. And he's still pissed off.

Spann has seen video that was taped the day his son was killed, including the interview with Lindh. He said his son was “pleading" with Lindh to reveal where he was from, and that Lindh should have taken the opportunity to warn him about the uprising.

“Why did he not tell Mike, 'Hey, I’m an American, get me out of here. I’ve got some things to tell you’," he said. “His folks can say John Walker Lindh never wanted to hurt Americans. If John Walker Lindh loved Americans and didn’t want Americans to die, I wonder why he didn’t just tell him."
