State: Leaping sturgeon become boating hazard

Karin points me to this fun bit about the "Giant Leaping Sturgeon". They actually jump over boats and have been known to knock people unconscious. Presumably not intentionally, though you can never tell with fish. I notice one of the knockout victims was on a personal watercraft, which may indicate some sort of environmental consciousness on the sturgeon's part.
