Morocco sent a couple of soldiers to set up a flag on a small uninhabited island off the Moroccan coast, one claimed by Spain (which has a couple of Hong Kong-style enclaves in Morocco). The Spanish are all hot and bothered about this. Meanwhile, the Spanish are moving closer to joint control of Gibraltar, which does have people on it, none of whom want to be Spanish. It's not exactly hypocritical, but it's along those lines.
