I post on things I don't understand all the time, so maybe I shouldn't judge, but any amount of research at all could have told Tim Blair that Major League Baseball players aren't striking for more money, but (if they do strike, which seems much less likely than it did a week ago) will do so to protect the status quo. I thought Blair was a capitalist, but I've noticed lots of capitalists don't seem to have any problem with salary controls for athletes.
